Create a "Date Submitted" in the Submittals Module and a UDF Field for "Date Due"

Creating a "Date Submitted" field will allow for better tracking of submittals that have been submitted to the AE team or the Owner. Adding a UDF (User Defined Field) on when the submittal needs to be returned will also allow for better tracking of submittal items by allowing the user to track anything that is overdue, late, or returned early. The current "Date Due" is great by holding ourselves and Trade Partners accountable on when submittals need to be turned in and having accurate lead times (when "use lead times to set due date" are turned on). But having an additional UDF "Date Due" will allow the "lead time" tracker to work independently. When a submittal is either turned in early or late this allows the Project Team to accurately track when the submittal should be returned from the AE team or Owner. As it stands now, the tracking mechanism does not work this way. Having these fields available are critical to maintaining a sustainable submittal tracking log.
