Bulk Edit Drawings

The ability to bulk edit locations in the drawing set would be beneficial. Currently, each drawing has be to individually edited to the location you would like to assign. Ideally, one would be be able to select which drawings they want to edit and then assign the desired location to all of those drawings with a click or two of the mouse.

    ProjectSight Team. What is the status on bulk editing drawings? This is a MUST FEATURE that needs to be prioritized by your team. Reprocessing the drawings thru “highlight regions” causes a tremendous amount of rework if the ProjectSights PDF/OCR does not like the A/E‘s Drawings (i.e. - Changes all the sheet #’s from 1 - I; Zero’s to the letter O; Letter ”S” to a $ (dollar sign)…the list continue)…Any custom fiends we create cannot be selected when uploading drawings therefore we are forced to enter each individual sheet and is EXTREMELY inefficient.


    Again - This request was created on September 21, 2022 and no progress made and primary focus seems to be around ERP / Accounting integration and opening up additional tiered licenses at double the cost vs. providing services for which your customers have and are paying for and address day-to-day necessities of ProjectSight and the Field Teams real need that improves our bottom line in order to afford adding to your bottom line each license renewal.

    I would find it useful to bulk edit the Discipline. If I have a document with all disciplines it would be easier to bulk edit rather than break them apart before uploading.

    Other competitors such as PlanGrid has this and the client really wants this selection method (Using Shift to select Multiple rows) in the Drawing set. Currently what takes 15 minutes is not taking 2 hours using Projectsight in the Drawing Set.
