Better Attachment Printing/Visibility Controls

Problem:

Throughout the life an RFI, it's common to have many attachments for references or proposed solutions. When printing the RFI after it has been answered, a user has to know which ones to select to include in the printed version. Otherwise, they end up printing outdated or duplicated information with the RFI and it creates confusion about what the final response is.

Ultimately, we want to maintain our entire record history, including all attachments, but limit confusion when users access or print a closed record. My example is for RFIs, but we would like to see this control across the system.

Proposed Solution:
Currently, there is a checkbox on linked files that allows you to control if an attachment is included in a notification. I think this same checkbox could be used to control if the attachment is selected by default when printing the record.

Ideally, the user closing the record is prompted to check/uncheck attachments when moving a record to a locked workflow status.

Maybe we could also have a Portfolio/Project setting to limit the ability to view/print unchecked attachments, based on security role. That way, we could make it easy for our subcontractors (or anyone else) to hit print and get exactly what we want them to see.
