When working in the Drawings module, filters are currently not retained.
Every time a user switches to another drawing, navigates to a different module (for example Action Items), or uses the mobile/iPad app, all filters are reset to the default view.
This means users must re‑apply the same filters repeatedly, such as:
hiding closed items
showing only open actions
filtering by status or type
This causes unnecessary time loss and frustration, especially for users who work with drawings all day.
Automatically remember the last used filters per user
Re‑apply these filters when:
opening another drawing
switching between modules
reopening the Drawings module
Consistent behavior on web and mobile/iPad
Optional (nice to have):
Ability to save filter presets
Manual reset filters option
Persisting filters would:
significantly improve efficiency and usability
reduce repetitive actions
align ProjectSight with common user expectations and other industry tools
In short:
The system should adapt to the user’s workflow, not force repeated manual filtering.
