Our field guys need to send a pdf report out of the daily report, and currently, the only way to generate reports is on the laptop. All of them prefer to use the iPad or Phone because of the ability to add photos to the report by using the camera. This extra step of starting the report on the iPad and then using the laptop or transferring the images from the Ipad to the computer could be more convenient. There needs to be a print option on the Ipad and Phone like on the Laptop browser version. The Print feature should be on everything on the browser, including drawings, specifications, Document Control, and Field Management. In addition print feature for creating reports, the ability to download and email the report is essential.
This should not take a year to implement. Please make this available
I agree that this flexibility will allow users like myself while in the field to create a punch list report and have the ability to generate it to a PDF so we can email it to the respective superintendent/PM or the person in charge of completing that punch list. Completing all those steps in the field will definitely be beneficial. That's my idea or vote.
A print feature on IOS allows for quick generation and dispatch of a PDF report without having to engage a separate workstation.
